Dr. Putman completed his training in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1988, after which he started a private practice in Tyler. He has been associated with Tyler Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1996, except the three years he served in Sierra Leone, Africa.
